Our Story
Buddy’s fifth birthday made me pause. Nothing had changed overnight, but I could hardly believe how quickly those five years had passed.
Of course, I wanted more time with him. But more than that, I wanted the years ahead to be healthy, active and full of the everyday moments we love sharing.
Buddy has always been a little picky with food, so as he grew older, I began paying closer attention to what went into his bowl, what truly nourished him and how I could better support his wellbeing.
It all came down to one simple question:
What more could I do for him?
Why I Built NOVAWILD
For over ten years, I have worked in the human health supplement industry. That experience shaped a belief that has stayed with me:
What we put into the body matters.
Yet when I began looking more closely at pet wellness, finding the same simplicity was not easy. Many freeze-dried treats relied on a single protein, while supplements often came with long, complicated ingredient lists that were difficult to understand.
I wanted something more thoughtful for Buddy. More variety from real food, natural sources of nutrition and ingredients that did not need to be searched online before they could be trusted.
So I drew on what I knew best and created a simpler, more considered approach to pet wellness.
